New odd jobs marketplace looking for B.C. 'taskers' for fall launch
“The online marketplace is where people can find and/or offer basic services for around the home and outdoors,” explained Way to Daily Hive.
“Whether it’s home repairs, cleaning, or yard work, Taskers can offer their services, set their own rates and hours, and get paid securely for their work.”
Some of the examples of jobs that can be filled by a tasker include mounting a TV, raking leaves, painting, cleaning, and assembling furniture.

“We heard from people in BC that they want more confidence in finding local help for small home projects, so we’re creating the BCAA Task Marketplace,” added Way.
“We know everyone is looking for ways to support their local communities and also keep a few more dollars in their bank account at the end of the month.”
The odd jobs marketplace’s launch will mainly focus on the Lower Mainland, but users across the province will have access to post services and look for assistance.
Taskers, small businesses, and those interested in becoming future customers can sign up online for more information.
