“After 26 unforgettable years, Brandi’s, the beloved exotic entertainment venue in Vancouver, is closing its doors,” said the exotic club online.
“From the celebrities and sports stars to every guest and staff member who graced our stage, we are deeply grateful. You helped create a place that was more than just a bar—it was a home.”
Brandi’s Show Lounge made international news in 2003 when Ben Affleck, then engaged to Jennifer Lopez, visited along with Christian Slater and Tara Reid.
Tabloids then called the owner to comment on allegations that Affleck cheated on his pop-star fiancée and reportedly offered $2 million to give up a video of Affleck inside the club. The owner turned down the money.

Fans commented on Brandi’s closure announcement with messages of disbelief and sadness.
“I’m never recovering from this one,” said one commenter.
“This city doesn’t care about culture,” added another.
Brandi’s thanked its patrons for all of their support over the year, and encouraged everyone to pop by before they close forever this spring.
“Please come by for a final visit and celebrate with us before our last week of operation, which will be the first week of May. Thank you all for being part of this incredible journey.”
Several long-time businesses have closed their doors in Metro Vancouver recently.
Krazy Bob’s Music Emporium closed in Langley last fall after 26 years.
And popular clothing store Zebraclub ended its two-decade run in South Granville at the end of 2025.
