<p>It&#8217;s no secret that the <a href="https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/bc-residents-food-spend-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">price of food</a> has only gone up in the last twenty years &#8212; just take a look at your most recent <a href="https://dailyhive.com/toronto/canada-grocery-prices-store-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">grocery bill</a>.</p>
<p>So when a restaurant announces that it will be turning back the clocks and offering burritos for the same price it did back in 2005 prices, we tend to take notice.</p>
<p>To celebrate its twentieth anniversary, Budgie&#8217;s Burritos will be rolling back the prices of its burritos to what it was back in 2005. That means you can score one of its tasty vegetarian handhelds for just $6.</p>
<p>To put that into context, the restaurant&#8217;s burritos currently range anywhere from $12.50 to $14.75, meaning you&#8217;ll be receiving an over 50 per cent discount.</p>
<p>However, this deal will only be available for one day only on Saturday, March 8.</p>

<p>For those unfamiliar, Budgie’s menu is entirely vegetarian and can easily be made vegan with cheese and sour cream substitutes. They offer six signature burritos, from the classic Johnny O to creative meat alternatives in the Blair Stanley and Poser burritos.</p>
