More than 20 Canadian brands we're loving for the new year
Ollie Quinn

Ollie Quinn is known for optical frames.
For those of us who wear glasses, a stylish pair of specs is a wardrobe must-have. Vancouver-born Ollie Quinn delivers on the perfect mix of frames that can have you looking fresh off the runway, or ones that are just modern enough but don’t have you looking too trendy.
The brand also offers plenty of options for sunglasses, including prescription options.
Mejuri

Jewellery by Mejuri.
Mejuri dubs itself “fine jewellery for every day.” The celebrity-loved brand (fans include Taylor Swift and bff Selena Gomez) actually hails from Toronto, and has had several viral styles in recent years, including the now-classic croissant ring.
There’s something for everyone in Mejuri’s line, from subtle to bold earrings, stackable rings, bracelets and even diamonds, all at an attainable price point. Best of all, the items will stand the test of time due to being made of gold, sterling silver and other quality materials.
House iD

House iD and Holt Renfrew collaborated on a limited edition crewneck.
The spin-off athleisure brand of fitness and wellness studio House Concepts is meant to be worn in and out of the gym. We love the sleek, neutral styles, especially the fit of the leggings and bike shorts.
The Vancouver-founded brand doubled down on its Canadian roots this winter with a limited-edition Holt Renfrew collaboration, dropping the gray and hot pink House x Holts unisex crewneck.
MIFA and Co.

MIFA and Co.’s eucalyptus body wash.
We’ve been religiously using MIFA & Co.’s eucalyptus body and hand wash since the pandemic, and it’s been a shower staple since.
The Canadian brand, founded by two besties, has rounded out its spa-inspired offerings over the years, and there’s been no misses: we love the luxurious body oil and mood mist for the perfect mid-day boost.
Monos

Monos’ new luggage collaboration with Simon Miller.
Truly the best carry-on luggage we’ve ever used. The Carry-On Pro Plus from Vancouver-based Monos is one of those, “once you try it, you’re never going back.”
The brand has also dropped some ultra-cool collabs as of late, including a bold blue and green collection with clothing brand Simon Miller. Beyond its luggage lines, Monos has also ventured into apparel with the perfect capsule wardrobe for an avid traveller.
