“I called non-emergency police to get some traffic control in the area,” posted a resident on Facebook. “My son and I almost got hit walking down the street. An ambulance was also trying to get through my street, but couldnāt because people were blocking the way with nowhere to go.”

Some people stood on chairs while others tied their smartphones to sticks to record the moment.

While not everyone enjoyed the traffic headaches caused by the free concert, some acknowledged that it was a nice gesture by the artist.
“Daniel Caesar is a real one for having a free concert at a random Vancouver park,” read a post on X after the show.
