<p>David Beckham visited and shared his feelings on social media about one of his favourite places, and it happens to be a city right here in B.C.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve done stories about Beckham&#8217;s visits to this scenic B.C. city before, including a visit from <a href="https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/david-beckham-british-columbia-snowboarding" target="_blank">almost exactly one year ago</a>, but he sounded even more passionate about it than usual this time.</p>
<p>Beckham was in Fernie, specifically at Island Lake Lodge, which is close to the B.C.-Alberta border and a bit over an 11-hour drive from this province.</p>
<p>&#8220;Every year I try to take four days in the mountains in Fernie, British Columbia, one of my favourite places to be,&#8221; his <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DV95NSZiMwr/?igsh=YWRsYjFteXB4MjJp" target="_blank">Instagram caption</a> reads.</p>
<p>He also shouted out Island Lake Lodge for making his visit special.</p>
<p>&#8220;I promise I&#8217;m not going as slow as my video looks,&#8221; he added.</p>

<p>The Instagram account @explorecanada said, &#8220;How lucky we are to see you every year!&#8221;</p>
<p>Other followers extended a &#8220;welcome back&#8221; to British Columbia to Beckham.</p>
