<p>If you&#8217;re looking to improve your internet speed at home, a new report will help you choose which provider to switch to.</p>
<p>Ookla revealed its Speedtest Award winners for the third and fourth quarters of 2025, highlighting the performance of Canadian telecom giants&#8217; fixed networks.</p>
<p>The results are based on data from Speedtest, a site powered by Ookla that allows users to test their internet speed.</p>
<p>&#8220;Our reports are informed by millions of daily consumer-initiated tests taken on Speedtest, along with quality of experience (QoE) metrics that offer insight into the daily connected activities that matter most to end-users,&#8221; stated the company.</p>
<p>The findings are based on data collected from July to December 2025, and the fastest carrier is chosen based on each internet provider&#8217;s download and upload speed.</p>
<p>Here are the results of the Speedtest Awards.</p>
<h2>Fastest fixed internet speed</h2>
<p>With many Canadians working from home nowadays, you may be competing with roommates or family members for fast internet access. Whether you&#8217;re taking work video calls at home or streaming Netflix to unwind in the evening, you&#8217;ll need a good fixed internet provider to handle the load.</p>
<p>The report found that Bell Pure Fibre had the fastest internet speed among the telecom giants in Canada.</p>
<p>Its speed score was 77.45, edging out Telus PureFibre (76.14) slightly. Rogers rounds out the top three fastest internet providers with a speed score of 71.47.</p>

<p>Bell Pure Fibre has a median download speed of 372.04, way ahead of its competitors. Telus PureFibre&#8217;s speed is at 318.27, and Rogers&#8217; is at 325.42.</p>
<p>A faster download speed means you can stream smoothly on multiple devices, download files quickly, and game to your heart&#8217;s content.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s the same story for median upload speeds, with Bell Pure Fibre leading at 321.44, followed by Telus PureFibre (273.36) and Rogers (93.04).</p>
<p>Canadians who frequently send large files over the internet for work or leisure will need a faster upload speed.</p>

<p>Bell Pure Fibre also won best internet in Canada overall, beating out all of its competitors in Speedtest connectivity score, speed score, video streaming score and web browsing score.</p>
