Looking at the First Capital REIT brochure for Village Market, the area where the former Safeway is located, the first west-facing retail space measures approximately 11,700 square feet, and something is coming soon; the second space is available at around 31,700 square feet.

It’s just one of numerous changes in the retail landscape in Sherwood Park. The massive L’OCA Quality Market closed its Sherwood Park location this week, and a big shopping plaza is in the works off the Anthony Henday at Baseline Road and Broadmoor Boulevard.
