<a href="https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/fresh-st-market-north-vancouver" target="_blank">Fresh St. Market</a> announced it will be opening a new location in Kitsilano, and it&#8217;s much sooner than you think.
The grocery store confirmed to Dished that it will be opening its ninth B.C. location at <a href="https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/fresh-st-market-kitsilano-block-vancouver-grocery-store" target="_blank">4th and Macdonald</a> on Dec. 12, with a grand opening celebration expected for January.
&#8220;This new store will feature our largest hot bar yet and serve as a one-stop destination for everything from locally sourced fresh produce and Certified Angus Beef to freshly made sushi, our signature hot cookies, Peak donuts, a burrito bar, carvery, and so much more,&#8221; said Palle Knudsen, vice-president of retail operations at Fresh St. Market. &#8220;We&#8217;re not just opening another store — we&#8217;re creating a vibrant new food experience for the Kitsilano community.&#8221;
As for what products people can expect, the grocery store shared that meat aficionados will find plenty to get excited about. In addition to its Canadian Certified Angus Beef Program, offerings include fresh poultry sourced from the Fraser Valley, meats from Oyama Sausage Co. on Granville Island, and <a href="https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/hudson-yang-vancouver" target="_blank">Two Rivers Meat</a> from North Vancouver (including charcuterie from Two Rivers as well as charcuterie from Chop N Block Kamloops).

There will also be a selection of local cheese from Golder Ears Cheesecrafters in Maple Ridge, Farm House Natural Cheese from Agassiz, and Mount Lehman from Abbotsford.
Foodies wanting to stop by <a href="https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/fresh-st-market-vancouver-house" target="_blank">Fresh St. Market</a> for a bite are also in luck, as there will be a selection of Whistler&#8217;s Forecast Coffee that you can pair with the market&#8217;s signature chocolate chip walnut cookie (served warm, of course). Plus, <a href="https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/peak-donuts-metro-vancouver-top-savoury-donuts" target="_blank">Peak Donuts</a> will be operating in the market as well, offering 26 varieties of its popular donuts, including its savoury Cheddar and Onion Fritter.

The store will also be utilizing its Borrow a Bag program, where customers are able to get a reusable bag for a refundable deposit of $2.99. When finished with the bag, they can return it to get their deposit back. The bag is then laundered and brought back to the store for more customers to use.
