<p>There&#8217;s a cozy new cafe that&#8217;s just been introduced to Edmonton&#8217;s Old Strathcona neighbourhood.</p>
<p>Edmonton has its own Filipino-run daytime cafe and nighttime lounge named Gathr., which has just opened on Whyte Avenue. It offers traditional coffee and teas throughout the day and serves non-alcoholic drinks and mocktails at night, all with intimate, elegant seating.</p>
<p>The real treat? Right inside the cafe is a cute vintage-inspired photobooth, available for use anytime you please.</p>

Whether it&#8217;s a matcha latte, an ube latte, or, if you&#8217;re feeling crazy, a matcha ube latte, it&#8217;s all delicious. The cafe also just dropped a new drink, Iced Strawberry Matcha (which has quickly grown in popularity within Edmonton).</p>
<p class="x9f619 x1n2onr6 x1ja2u2z x78zum5 xdt5ytf x2lah0s x193iq5w xp6pnuw x160xiiu">One of the most popular drinks at its grand opening included The Simeona’s Sunset. This is named after the owner&#8217;s grandmother, Lola Onang, and honours her memory. The mocktail itself <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DWAKgeigRhh/" target="_blank">is described as a</a> &#8220;sophisticated balance of bitter orange and nostalgic grapefruit&#8221; for &#8220;a drink with character just like her.&#8221;</p>

<p class="x9f619 x1n2onr6 x1ja2u2z x78zum5 xdt5ytf x2lah0s x193iq5w xp6pnuw x160xiiu">In terms of hours, this spot is open every day except on Sunday. Monday to Wednesday, it&#8217;s open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Thursday to Saturday, it&#8217;s open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re looking for a new spot to chill with friends, this could definitely be it. Not to mention, it&#8217;s the perfect spot for a first date, with the photo booth to commemorate the good memories.</p>
<p>Gathr. is already making a name for itself, starting off strong with its grand opening in the community. We can&#8217;t wait to see what it brings next.</p>
