The immersive nighttime event invites visitors to wander an illuminated forest trail inspired by the iconic Forbidden Forest seen in the Harry Potter films. Along the way, guests encounter magical creatures such as Unicorns and Nifflers, cast spells, and even conjure their own Patronus, creating an interactive adventure straight out of the Wizarding World.
Since its initial launch in 2021, the globally touring Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience has captivated more than two million fans worldwide. The Vancouver run has proven to be highly popular, prompting the extension and offering what organizers describe as the final opportunity for locals to step into the spellbinding world before it disappears.

The experience in Stanley Park first opened on Nov. 7, 2025, at which point tickets were only available through Jan. 11, 2026. Just ahead of opening night, organizers said they had never seen such strong pre-sale interest for the event in any city.
With the extension, between now and Feb. 1, this after-dark evening experience will be open on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only. It will also be open on Tuesday, Jan. 6.
Tickets are more expensive for entries early in the evening, with lower prices for later entry times. Furthermore, ticket discounts of between 20 per cent and 25 per cent are also being offered for the remaining dates in the event’s calendar.
