This Vancouver icon is spectacular year-round, but autumn gives it an extra glow. Stanley Park’s trails become tunnels of orange and red leaves, and the seawall sparkles with golden light bouncing off the water.

Dogs can enjoy the fenced off-leash area near Lagoon Drive, while humans get postcard-perfect views.

2. Pacific Spirit Regional Park (UBC)

Dense evergreen forest meets splashes of fall colour at this sprawling trail network near UBC. Most trails are dog-friendly, with wide paths where leaves crunch underfoot. Rainy days make it feel misty and mystical, giving you and your pup a private forest escape.

3. Queen Elizabeth Park (Vancouver)

Best known for its sweeping city views, Queen E is just as enchanting at ground level in the fall. The park’s trees put on a show of deep reds and yellows, and the off-leash zone gives dogs a chance to romp while you enjoy the scenery.

4. Mundy Park (Coquitlam)

One of the largest urban parks in Metro Vancouver, Mundy Park has kilometres of trails shaded by trees that turn spectacular shades each October. With morning and evening off-leash hours, it’s ideal for weekday walks before or after work.

5. Burnaby Mountain Park (Burnaby)

This hillside park is a stunner in autumn. Trails wind through towering trees that blaze with colour, and the open fields near SFU give pups plenty of room to roam. With panoramic views of Burrard Inlet and the North Shore mountains, it’s a fall walk that feels both peaceful and epic.
