“Tracy Drain [is] a NASA aerospace engineer whose work helped send robotic spacecraft across our solar system,” said a release about Cosmic Adventure. “Through stunning visuals and firsthand stories, the event invites audiences to explore the universe through the eyes of the machines we’ve sent to study it.
“It’s a rare opportunity to experience space science brought to life, right here in the city.”

Drain works at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory on projects like rovers on Mars and a search for exoplanets in the galaxy.
She was a National Geographic Society Wayfinder Award recipient in 2024, and she is the lead flight systems engineer on the Europa Clipper mission, which is slated to arrive at Jupiter in 2030.
Tickets for the show are on sale now. Also coming up this spring is Untangling the Mind with Steve Ramirez this spring, which is a deep dive into the electrical web of 100 trillion connections that make up the human brain.
