<p>Vancouver has seen plenty of growth when it comes to <a href="https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/italian-restaurants-vancouver" target="_blank">new Italian restaurants</a>, whether it be a new concept from an <a href="https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/giusti-vancouver-2025" target="_blank">all-star team</a> or <a href="https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/freds-restaurant-kistilano" target="_blank">fresh locations from much-loved chains</a>. Now, another restaurant is looking to join the fray: Osteria Otto.</p>
<p>&#8220;Nestled in the heart of Mount Pleasant, Otto brings together the spirit of Italian osterie, the intimacy of Japanese hi-fi bars, and the warmth of Mediterranean flavours,&#8221; shared the restaurant on <a href="https://www.opentable.com/r/osteria-otto-vancouver" target="_blank">OpenTable</a>.</p>
<p>Details on the new spot are sparse, with an opening date still up in the air according to the restaurant&#8217;s Instagram. However, the restaurant lists bookable reservations for as early as Dec. 17, so we anticipate the restaurant will be opening sooner rather than later.</p>
<p>&#8220;Otto is a character—calm, stylish, culturally curious. His living room is our dining room: intimate, soulful, and elegantly relaxed,&#8221; added the restaurant. &#8220;Enjoy a curated selection of wines, exceptional original cocktails, and a menu built for lingering, tasting, and connecting.&#8221;</p>

<p>When it comes to the drink program, according to its listed menu, we can expect a selection of wines, beers, and signature cocktails as well. Highlights include the <strong>Blackbird </strong>(Suntory Toki Whisky, Fino Palomino, Tio Pepe, Giffard Abricot, Pine Tea), <strong>Otto Negroni </strong>(Tanqueray No.10, Campari, Carpano Antica Formula, Palo Santo Mist), and <strong>Sicilian Margarita </strong>(Tequileño Reposado, Cointreau, Luxardo Amaretto, Orange Marmalade, Lime), to name a few. Food offerings have yet to be shared.</p>
