Here's when Pattullo Bridge fully closes for a week as work on new crossing continues
The round-the-clock closures of the two bridges are to facilitate the connection of the roadways on either side to the new bridge.
“All traffic pattern changes will be well signed,” added Fraser Crossing Partners. “Drivers are encouraged to check DriveBC for updates.”

The Pattullo Bridge and the stal̕əw̓asəm (Riverview) Bridge will reopen after the work is completed, with four lanes of traffic split between them.
All four lanes on the stal̕əw̓asəm Bridge, including the new Royal Avenue on-ramp, will open in late February. Work will then begin on the removal of the Pattullo Bridge, which is expected to take approximately two years.

The new bridge will be owned and operated by the provincial government, rather than TransLink — freeing up TransLink’s resources that were previously dedicated to maintaining and operating the old bridge.
Currently, the old bridge sees an average traffic volume of about 70,000 vehicles per day.
