Volleyball players will enjoy eight competition-grade courts and four additional courts within the pickleball wing, with space for vendors for major competitions.
The Nest will also be able to utilize the flexible volleyball space to create 14 additional courts for hosting major tournaments.
Under Deakin’s stewardship, The Nest will offer coaching, clinics, inclusive leagues, and social play sessions for players of all skill levels.

Pickleball Depot will also open a retail outlet at the facility, offering a selection of gear and equipment.
The Nest is the latest facility announcing its impending arrival in Metro Vancouver.
Fairgrounds Public Racket Club is gearing up to open a huge pickleball facility inside Capilano Mall in North Vancouver this fall. And the Inclusive Place of Pickleball (IPOP) recently opened its doors at The City of Lougheed in Burnaby.

“There are new pickleball courts being built across B.C. as they are very much needed,” said David Snell, president of Pickleball B.C. Association, in a release.
“Some of our 101 associated and affiliated clubs, some with municipality partnerships, some with private funding in retail store facilities like IPOP, and some purpose-built from scratch, such as The Nest.
“At many of these new pickleball facilities, players at all levels can benefit by developing their skills either for recreational play or more competitive endeavours. High-level players who compete in provincial and Canadian National tournaments can take advantage of these new facilities.”
