Wong also talked about the surreal nature behind the last game of her five-year career at UBC.
“When I was a kid, I would have to get dressed in the car, and my parents would be rushing me to games. It was a pretty full-circle moment.”
UBC went on to win the game against Waterloo, clinching fifth place in the tournament.
Wong finishes her UBC career with 100 points in 167 career games. She was also named a first-ballot All-Star for the first time in her career.
And most importantly, she showed her dedication and hustle until the very end of her university hockey career.
