The highest temperature in Metro Vancouver this week is expected to occur on Tuesday, with inland areas forecasted to reach a high of 24°C.
When factoring in humidex, ECCC anticipates some inland areas will feel more like 26°C, with a UV index of six or higher.
However, you may need to start planning some indoor activities for the weekend, as rain is forecast to return starting on Friday night and possibly stay into the first week of October.

“Rain is possible into next week,” said Matt Loney, a meteorologist with ECCC. “Models some troughing off the west coast, so there’s a pretty good potential for more weather systems coming in next week.
“Models differ on the strength of those systems, but overall, it’s conducive for more organized systems coming in.”
Loney also told Daily Hive that the first half of October will bring near-normal temperatures and precipitation in the Vancouver forecast.
