“These honours underscore the hotel’s dedication to creating experiences that inspire balance and well-being, combining thoughtful design, elevated amenities, and genuine service within one of Vancouver’s most scenic waterfront settings,” said the Westin Bayshore in a release.
In addition to public voting, winners at the 2025 World Luxury Awards were judged on guest feedback, service quality, and first-hand assessments by an evaluating panel.
Westin Bayshore is known as one of the most well-known and popular hotels in Vancouver.

The swanky hotel has been a favourite for visitors and locals for years, and it’s easy to see why. The resort-style space has year-round wellness programs and one of the biggest hotel ballrooms in all of Western Canada, making it the ideal spot for business and leisure.
The views are incredible and offer shots of the water, mountains, and the city, from around the hotel and the well-appointed and bright guest rooms and suites.
Westin Bayshore also has a few spots to grab a drink or tasty snack, including H Tasting Lounge, which took home several of its own honours at the World Luxury Awards.

“We are honoured to be recognized alongside so many inspiring leaders in global hospitality,” says Sarah Woodgate, hotel manager at The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver. “These awards are a reflection of our team’s unwavering passion and dedication to excellence.
“From the associates who bring our brand’s promise of well-being to life each day to the talented culinary and bar teams at H Tasting Lounge who continue to redefine Vancouver’s dining and cocktail scene, we are incredibly proud to see both the hotel and the lounge celebrated on the world stage.”
Accolades are continuing to roll in for B.C.’s hospitality sector, with a mountainside B.C. hotel named among the best accommodations in the world.
The World Ski Awards, a global initiative that celebrates excellence in ski tourism, recently crowned Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside as the best ski hotel in Canada.
The 32nd annual World Travel Awards also recently unveiled the top hotels in Canada, and three are found here in B.C.
