According to Desjardins Executive Vice-President of Personal Services and Community Life Nathalie Larue, the financial institution will be unveiling a new line of credit cards as part of this launch.
“This initiative reflects our commitment to providing tangible and personalized benefits to our members and clients who travel with Air Transat, in collaboration with Visa,” stated Larue.
Visa Canada Vice President and Head of Product Dan Iwachiw added that the new suite of cards is designed to “bring more travel opportunities, meaningful rewards, and exceptional payment experiences to Canadians.”
The cards will be backed by Visa’s global network, meaning cardholders will be able to use them anywhere in the world.
Air Transat, Desjardins and Visa plan on launching the new loyalty program in the second half of 2026.
Another bank that announced new rewards for its customers is TD. If you’re a TD cardholder, you’ll now be able to score deals and rack up rewards on everyday purchases.
