Cineplex Canada is back with discounted tickets for just a limited time, giving you more reasons to brave the winter chill and finally head to the theatre to catch that must-see movie.
Cineplex is offering Canadians a chance to watch movies for just $5, giving your wallet a much-needed break as the price of almost everything continues to climb. So how does it work?
Five-dollar Tuesdays are back, which means you can catch a movie for just $5 per ticket until Feb. 24. And what’s a movie experience without popcorn? In addition to the $5 tickets, you’ll also be able to buy a small bag of popcorn for $5 plus tax.
And here’s the best part: simply pay an applicable surcharge in addition to your $5 ticket, and you can get access to premium screens such as 3D, IMAX, UltraAVX, D-BOX, 4DX, ScreenX, and VIP.

While you can buy $5 tickets in theatres, you can also buy your ticket and reserve seats in advance online for $6.50 ($5 plus a $1.50 booking fee). CineClub members can purchase tickets for just $5, while Scene+ members pay $6 ($5 plus a $1 online booking fee). All prices are before taxes. Prices apply to the first four tickets purchased in a transaction.
Unfortunately, this deal isn’t valid for non-feature film or Cineplex Events performances and can’t be combined with other promotions, coupons, or discounts.

And it’s not just $5 Tuesdays ā each month, Cineplex offers several family-friendly movies at participating theatres across Canada for just $3.99 every Saturday.
You can still catch The King of Kings on Saturday, Jan. 24, and The Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie on Saturday, Jan. 31.
