Vancouver’s Plaza of Nations will soon be home to a new entertainment venue, The Key, and a music superstar is coming to kick things off during the grand opening.

The Key Vancouver, a 1,000-capacity performance venue, officially opens its doors with a highly anticipated inaugural lineup including Dr. Fresch on April 3 and French Montana on April 5.

French Montana was born in Morocco and holds the title of the most-streamed African-born musical artist and the first African-born artist to earn a diamond-certified single.

The “Unforgettable” singer has collaborated with artists like Rick Ross, Drake, and Swae Lee, and is also the founder of Coke Boy Records. He has also appeared on TV shows such as Empire, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, NCIS: New Orleans, and America’s Next Top Model.

Guests will discover 3,000 square feet of LED screens and advanced sound design that is integrated into the space’s architecture.

“The goal behind The Key is to create a venue where artists feel supported by world-class production and where audiences feel fully immersed in the moment. Vancouver deserves a stage that prioritizes sound, visuals, and integrity in equal measure.”
