Metro Vancouver's first certified Kobe beef all-you-can-eat experience is here

While you may have seen Kobe beef on menus before, enjoying actually authentic Kobe beef from Japan is a much more challenging feat. In fact, only three restaurants in the Metro Vancouver area have the certification to serve the highly sought-after protein. Now, one of those restaurants is offering an all-you-can-eat experience featuring Kobe beef.
Happening until Jan. 4, 2026, you can visit House of Dawn Steakhouse to enjoy this all-you-can-eat Kobe beef experience.

This special menu, starting at $328 per guest, features Certified Kobe Sirloin and Rib-Eye only, precision-trimmed for exceptional marbling, tenderness, and the signature Kobe aroma.
How it works is you will be presented with a set that includes Kobe sirloin or rib-eye, garlic kailan purée, wagyu confit potato, asparagus, and house oyster sauce. Then, once you finish your set, you are able to order another.
Only marbled selections are served, and if you find a large piece of fat, your table eats for free.
To participate, your entire table must opt in to the experience. Additionally, any unfinished plate will be charged at $240 per set, so be sure to only order what you can eat.

House of Dawn was originally an Asian-fusion restaurant before Executive Chef and Culinary Director James Yang took the helm and turned it into a steakhouse.
Yang has worked on the line at many Canadian staples, like The Keg and Moxies, as well as kitchens across the world, including Noma in Copenhagen and restaurants throughout Europe and Australia. He’s also spent time under master chefs at L’Atelier Joel Robuchon in Shanghai and Peter Luger Steakhouse in New York.
