Immersive dining experience with the world's smallest chef is coming to Vancouver

A world-famous immersive experience is coming to Vancouver this month, and it’s bringing with it the world’s smallest chef.

Le Petit Chef and Family will be headed to the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel, where guests will be able to watch an extravagant meal prepared right before their very eyes by a very tiny chef. Well, kind of.

Le Petit Chef actually uses video projection and state-of-the-art 3D mapping technology to show the culinary maestro hard at work preparing a delicious meal at your table.

The event will follow the story of Le Petit Chef as he falls in love in spring, stars a family, and shares moments of joy, surprise, and connection across the season. Each chapter unfolds through immersive projection mapping right onto the dining table.

While following the chef’s journey, guests will enjoy a four-course meal that includes options for children, vegetarians, and those who are gluten-free.

“Bringing Le Petit Chef to our hotel is a true celebration of creativity and connection,” said Yannick Simovich, General Manager of the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel. “It’s more than a meal. It’s an experience that blends art, technology, and hospitality in a way that delights every generation. We’re thrilled to offer our guests and local community something so unexpected and memorable right here in Richmond.”

You can experience Le Petit Chef and Family starting Oct. 17, 2025, with reservations available online.
