'This was one of the best restaurants': Richmond eatery announces closure and people are upset

Richmond fine dining restaurant Little Karp shared the unfortunate news that it will be closing its doors soon.
Located on Alexandra Road among other much-loved restaurants like The Fish Man and Little Pisces, Little Karp’s menu celebrates the ocean’s bounty with its creative take on classic seafood dishes, highlighting Asian flavours with West Coast ingredients. The restaurant first opened its doors in 2023.
“What began as a simple idea grew into countless shared meals, celebrations, late nights, and meaningful conversations. We are deeply thankful for every guest who walked through our doors and became part of our story,” wrote the restaurant on Instagram.
