A Canadian lottery player just woke up to some incredible news: they won a massive Lotto Max jackpot.
The Lotto Max draw on Tuesday, March 3, was a huge one with a $75 million jackpot up for grabs. The winning numbers were 01, 03, 04, 18, 20, 23, and 31, with bonus 02, and one lottery player managed to match all seven winning numbers. According to PlayNow, the life-changing ticket was sold in Ontario, turning one lottery player into an instant multimillionaire.
There were several other big winners during Tuesday’s draw.
Someone scored the Lotto Max second prize worth $288,056.30 after buying their ticket in Western Canada. According to WCLC, the ticket was purchased in Winnipeg, M.B. The third prize will be split between 64 winners, who’ll each walk away with $4,500.90.
At the time, there were 12 Maxmillions prizes to be won, and two tickets managed to match two sets of winning numbers. Both tickets were sold in Ontario, and each winner is now $1 million richer.

In B.C., no one won the Lotto Max Extra prize worth $500,000, and in Ontario, no one won the $1-million Encore prize.
It’s been a while since someone scored the jackpot.
The last big winner was St. George, Ont., resident Raymond Gubbins, who was shocked when he discovered that he had won a $15-million Lotto Max jackpot in the Jan. 20, 2026, draw.
Before he won, the 62-year-old longtime player said that he often joked about not showing up for work the next day if he won the lottery. Gubbins is now looking forward to a relaxing retirement.
The next Lotto Max draw is on Friday, March 6, and the jackpot is worth $20 million.
