Lottery players across Canada have their eyes on the huge Lotto Max jackpot, but although no one will take home the main prize, several did win big.

During the Lotto Max draw on Tuesday, Feb. 24, the jackpot reached a massive $65 million, but no one matched the winning numbers 06, 08, 10, 25, 27, 30, and 31, with bonus 44. However, that doesn’t mean there were no winners.

In fact, three people managed to score the second prize after they matched six of the seven numbers and the bonus number. According to PlayNow, two tickets were sold in Ontario, and according to Atlantic Lottery, the third ticket was sold in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. Each of the winners will receive a share worth $76,455.10.

The third prize will be split between 57 people, who’ll each take home $4,024. Also, there were eight Maxmillions prizes up for grabs during Tuesday’s draw. Two people ended up splitting a Maxmillions prize after they both matched the numbers 10, 27, 33, 44, 45, 47, and 49. Each winner will receive $500,000 after buying their tickets in North Vancouver and Ontario.

No one in B.C. won the $500,000-Lotto Max Extra Prize, and similarly, no one in Ontario will be going home with the $1-million Encore prize.

The last time a lottery player won a Lotto Max jackpot was on Jan. 20, when someone from Ontario won $15 million.

The next draw is on Friday, Feb. 27, and the jackpot has climbed to $70 million. There are also 10 Maxmillions prizes to be won.
