'This sucks': Langley sports bar closes after a decade and people are upset

Oak and Thorne, the sports bar located in Langley Township, has shared the news that it has closed its doors, leaving many upset.
“After more than a decade in Walnut Grove, Oak and Thorne will be closing its doors,” wrote the pub on Instagram. “If this place has ever been part of your nights—whether it was one drink or a hundred—we’d love to see you in the room one last time. Come raise a glass with us.”
Oak and Thorne first opened in 2015 and is known for its classic pub offerings, extensive tap list, and arcade games.
“To everyone who’s walked through our doors over the years—thank you. For the nights, the energy, the memories. It’s been an honour serving this community,” added the bar.
