New ice cream shop specializing in cereal-infused soft serve opens in Calgary
A new ice cream spot specializing in nostalgic flavours has just opened in Calgary.
Tat’s Treats is a tiny new ice cream shop that’s just opened its doors in Marda Loop just ahead of the warmer weather.
Unlike many of the city’s scoop shops, it specializes in cereal-infused soft serve, focusing on those nostalgic flavours you remember from childhood.

Among the mixes to try includes the In The Loop, which combines Froot Loops, frosted flakes, Kit Kat, and marshmallow blended into Tat’s Treats milky vanilla soft serve.
There’s also a Snap Crackle Puff mix featuring Reese’s Puffs, Rice Krispies, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups blended into vanilla soft serve.
For a little taste of childhood, Tat’s Treats is currently open Thursday through Sunday.
