Vancouver luxury hotel restaurant was named the best in Canada
Those living in Vancouver already know we have a top-notch dining scene, but over the last year, it seems that the rest of Canada has finally started to get the memo on how good the restaurants here are. For instance, hot off the heels of Vancouver dominating Air Canada’s Top 10 Best New Restaurants list, H Tasting Lounge was just named the best luxury hotel restaurant in Canada.
The award, presented by the World Luxury Awards, was announced on Nov. 20 and saw the restaurant win in three categories: Best Luxury Innovative Restaurant in North America, Best Luxury Hotel Restaurant in Canada, and Best Cocktail Menu in North and Central America.
Located at the Westin Bayshore, H Tasting Lounge aims to evoke the glamour of early 20th-century Hollywood through its handcrafted cocktails and globally inspired coastal menu.
The lounge is quite well known for its themed weekend afternoon teas and its signature outdoor dome dining experiences, Winterlust and The Secret Garden.

The restaurant continues to push boundaries through its imaginative cocktail creations, seasonalĀ tasting menus, and immersive guest experiences that highlight craftsmanship and creativity,” wrote the World Luxury Awards.
Additionally, the Westin Bayshore itself walked away with numerous awards, including Best Luxury Business Hotel in North America, Best Luxury Waterfront Hotel in North America, and Best Luxury Hotel in Canada.

As for the World Luxury Awards, they were founded in 2006 and are recognized as one of the most prestigious programs in global luxury hospitality.
