Harbour Air is gearing up for its largest seasonal expansion ever, with several new routes from Vancouver to popular B.C. destinations and a major U.S. city.
North America’s largest seaplane airline made the announcement on Wednesday, March 25, highlighting the return of direct flights from Vancouver to Seattle starting in April.
According to Chris Fordyce, chief commercial officer for Harbour Air, the expansion reflects what the company has been hearing from its guests and communities.

“The Vancouver-Seattle route has been one of our strongest seasonal services, and we’re thrilled to bring it back,” said Fordyce in a release.
“We’re also launching three new routes this summer, including our first Victoria-Seattle service, new flights to Ucluelet, and new flights to Campbell River. These additions strengthen our network and give coastal B.C. travellers more ways to explore the region and beyond.”
Harbour Air‘s Vancouver-Seattle route launches on April 13 with twice-daily departures from downtown Vancouver to Seattle. The flight from Coal Harbour to Lake Union will last about an hour.
Travellers can also fly between Victoria on Vancouver Island and the largest city in Washington, beginning on June 11. Flight time on the new route is expected to take less than an hour.

With both (Vancouver and Victoria) expecting record visitor numbers this summer, we’re ready to make cross-border travel easier than ever,” added Fordyce.
Harbour Air expansion plans continue this summer with a new once-daily service from Vancouver to Ucluelet starting on June 25, and Campbell River on July 6.
Both B.C. spots are expected to see busy tourist seasons, with Ucluelet named a top global travel destination for 2026 by Expedia, and Campbell River selected as a top trending destination in Canada by Airbnb.
It has been a busy time for the seaplane company as it launched its first-ever wheeled flight service from Vancouver to Tofino last fall.
Harbour Air also entered into a partnership with Aeroplan, Air Canada’s loyalty and rewards program, in December, allowing travellers to earn Aeroplan points every time they book on an eligible fare.
