This place is really on a roll at the moment. Just weeks after opening a new Calgary location, one Canadian fried chicken spot is already set to expand with another in the city.

Kukuruku Chicken is gearing up to open a new location at North Hill Centre in the city’s northwest, with the outpost slated to open this spring.

The spot offers fresh 100 percent Canadian chicken, which it marinates daily in-store. It’s then seasoned and hand-battered with Kukuruku’s proprietary ingredients made in Canada.

As well as classic fried chicken, Kukuraku also offers chicken tenders and chicken wings, which can be purchased alone or in a combo with sides and corn bread.

Kukuruku currently has three Calgary locations at Nortland Village Mall, New Brighton Landing, and another at Marlborough Mall, which opened earlier this year.

While Kukuruku has yet to unveil an official opening date, it’s exciting to see the Canadian spot expand.
