A recently released Netflix series has plenty of Alberta locations to spot, and here are all the ones you can check out for yourself.

Can This Love Be Translated? is a K-drama series filmed in and around Calgary. Actors Go Youn Jung and Kim Seon Ho were even spotted filming scenes throughout the city back in 2024

Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to share areas they may have recognized when the series first hit the streaming platform, and now Netflix in Your Neighbourhood has dished on the exact spots where scenes were filmed in Alberta.

Episode 4 features Heritage Park, a historical village in Calgary that’s home to one of Canada’s largest living history museums. Another YYC favourite can be seen in episode 4, when the show’s leads meet up at Crossroads Market, a marketplace where dozens of vendors sell fresh produce and handmade goods.

Stephen Avenue and The Galleria Tree in downtown Calgary set the backdrop for a dramatic scene in episode 5.

The Banff Central Park Pedestrian Bridge also made an appearance in episode 5, along with downtown Banff in episode 4. In episode six of the series, Quarry Lake Park in Canmore was also featured.

Upper Kananaskis Lake was seen in episode 5, and Horseshoe Canyon, just outside of Drumheller, was in episode 4.

The show joins the already long list of Alberta-shot Netflix series, such as western drama The Abandons and My Life With The Walter Boys

Another movie that was recently released includes Die My Love, starring Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence, who called Calgary the coldest set of her career.
