Insomnia Festival

What: Insomnia Festival returns to the TRADEX in Abbotsford on Saturday, April 4, and the lineup includes some of the world’s biggest DJs and EDM stars.
This year will feature David Guetta, Audien, James Hype, Oliver Heldens, and W&W. All ages are welcome to Insomnia Festival, and there will also be exclusive 19+ VIP experiences available.

An Evening with Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Maria Ressa
What: The Chan Centre hosts a timely conversation with Maria Ressa, described as one of the most courageous journalists of our time.
Named one of TIME’s Most Influential People and one of its Women of the Century, Ressa has spent her career on the front lines of the global fight for truth and democracy. As co-founder and CEO of Rappler, the top news site leading the fight for press freedom in the Philippines, she faced 11 arrest warrants in just over a year.
The event will be moderated by CBC News chief correspondent Adrienne Arsenault.

The Perfect Bite
What: Time to pick up your magnifying glass, detectives. An official Netflix murder mystery dinner continues its run in Vancouver, and you’re invited to take a bite out of crime.
Secret City Adventures is collaborating with Netflix on the event, which will see guests watching a murder case unfold while deciphering clues. Of course, they will also enjoy a delicious dinner that is simply to die for.

Hop into Spring at Capilano Mall

What: Ready for some fluffy festivities? Hop on down to Capilano Mall on Saturday, April 4, for an egg-citing Spring celebration. Families are invited to the Grand Court for visits and photos with the Easter Bunny, plus fun kids’ activities including cookie decorating and face painting.
Don’t forget to fill your basket with treats fit for a bunny at Guest Services, while supplies last.
And for the first time at Capilano Mall, families can also purchase a photo with the Easter Bunny. Easter Bunny photo sessions will be available on April 4 and April 5 between 12:30 and 5 p.m. Walk-up visits are welcome, but reservations are recommended.

French Montana
What: The Key Vancouver, a 1,000-capacity performance venue, officially opens its doors with a highly anticipated inaugural lineup including Dr. Fresch on April 3 and French Montana on April 5.
French Montana was born in Morocco and holds the title of the most-streamed African-born musical artist and the first African-born artist to earn a diamond-certified single.
The “Unforgettable” singer has collaborated with artists like Rick Ross, Drake, and Swae Lee, and is also the founder of Coke Boy Records. He has also appeared on TV shows such as Empire, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, NCIS: New Orleans, and America’s Next Top Model.

FlyOver – Believe Chicago
What: FlyOver at the Canada Place pier in downtown Vancouver is transporting guests to Chicago in an immersive flight ride. Passengers will soar over the historic city, discovering the sights and the people that make it memorable.

Curry Cup 2026 – Tournament of Champions

Curry Cup
What: Curry Cup will see eight of the competition’s previous winners compete in the final culinary showdown, which guests will then get to try and cast their vote for their favourite dish. Your ticket includes beverage and dessert samples during the event.
Curries will be judged by some of “Vancouver’s foodie elites,” including chefs, who will determine the winner based on criteria of plating, flavour, and cultural knowledge.

Public Disco
What: Returning this year is the signature event, Blossom Block Party, with a car-free Dunsmuir Street.

Rabbitats Easter BunnyFest

What: The Rabbitats Easter BunnyFest is a great way to visit with rabbits in real life and learn about the cotton-tailed cuties.
