The best-selling comedy recording artist in history is coming to Vancouver this summer, and fans of “Weird Al” Yankovic won’t want to miss the fun.

Weird Al is bringing his record-breaking Bigger & Weirder Tour to the Freedom Mobile Arch on Thursday, Sept. 3.

The five-time Grammy Award winner is visiting six Canadian cities, including Kelowna and Vancouver. He also joins a huge list of music superstars coming to town in 2026.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 13, at 10 a.m.

According to Live Nation, Weird Al performed to over 500,000 fans during 75 shows across 67 cities in 2025 alone.

“The fans weren’t sick of us yet,” the platinum-selling artist said in a release. “So we’re just going to keep on touring until they are.”

Best known for his hilariously irreverent parodies of hit songs, including “Like A Surgeon,” “Amish Paradise,” and “White & Nerdy,” the musician is one of only three artists to chart in the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 in the previous four consecutive decades.

Weird Al’s Mandatory Fun is the only comedy album ever to debut at number one on the Billboard Top 200. He also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and won an Emmy for WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story starring Daniel Radcliffe.

The Bigger & Wierder Tour is described as “a super-sized comedy-rock spectacle,” with a massive video wall, epic costumes, and an eight-piece ensemble featuring Weird Al’s original band bringing his hits to life.

Also on the bill at Freedom Mobile Arch for the show is Puddles Pity Party, a musical comedy icon in his own right who has received praise from artists like Jack Black, Drew Carey, Nick Offerman, and Maynard Keenan.

Construction on the new Freedom Mobile Arch amphitheatre at the PNE in Hastings Park reached a significant milestone last summer, with the installation of the final segment of glulam beam for the landmark mass-timber roof structure.

The long-planned venue’s very first event will be its use for Vancouver’s official FIFA World Cup Fan Festival, spanning five weeks at the PNE fairgrounds as a key celebration of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Later this Summer, the amphitheatre will see its first use for greatly enhanced programming for the annual PNE Fair.
