Another major Toronto-based chain is making its way to Vancouver. Just after Rosie’s Burgers shared the news that it would be opening in Vancouver (and Abbotsford), brunch destination Eggstatic shared that it will be opening its first West Coast location right here in the city.

“Vancouver… get ready to feel Eggstatic,” shared the restaurant on Instagram. “Serving sunshine on a plate Vancouver.”

Eggstatic (not to be confused with Burnaby’s bubble waffle shop Cafe Eggstatic) is a chain that operates multiple locations in Ontario, and its Vancouver location will be its first venture into Western Canada. It’s known for its selection of Middle Eastern-inspired brunch from shakshuka to its much-loved sweets.

“Whether you’re stopping by for a quick breakfast before exploring the city or settling in for a long weekend brunch with friends, Eggstatic Vancouver is your go-to destination for bold flavours and exceptional service,” added the restaurant on its website.

Opening at 3950 Main St., the new brunch spot will be operating in the former space of Ramen Kounotori. It’s expected to open its doors on Saturday, March 28.
