A Vancouver steakhouse was just named among the best in the world
World’s Best Steak Restaurants recently revealed its rankings of the 101 best steak restaurants in the world, and Vancouver eatery Elisa has once again made the list.
This year, the restaurant landed at number 32 on the list.
“To be included among such an exceptional groupāand as one of the Canadian restaurants in the top 40āis truly meaningful,” wrote Elisa on Instagram.

The steakhouse then went on to give a shoutout to the entire team led by Executive Chef Andrew Richardson and Restaurant Director Ricardo Ferreira, alongside its partners at Luigi and Sons.
“Thank you to @worldbeststeakrestaurants for this acknowledgement, and congratulations to all those recognized. We’re so proud to represent Vancouver and Canada on the global stage,” added Elisa.
The ranking of the world’s 101 best steak restaurants is managed and published by boutique media company Upper Cut Media House.
Restaurants are evaluated through multiple criteria, including quality of meat offered, selection and variety of meat cuts, service quality and expertise in meats, curated wine lists, ease of use and efficiency of the reservation system, interior design, and more.
Evaluations are conducted by two to four experienced “steak ambassadors” with a broad industry background over decades, such as award-winning chefs, certified meat and wagyu masters, and food journalists.

This is not the first time that the swanky Yaletown steakhouse from the Toptable Group has landed on the list, having been named in years prior, earning the eleventh spot last year.
The restaurant has long been a favourite for Vancouverites and folks visiting town, including A-listers such asĀ John Cena and Keegan-Michael Key.
