“For car enthusiasts, drifting fans, and movie lovers alike, this will be an unforgettable experience and one of the many moments that will make this year’s show truly special.”

The motorsport drama stars Kang as a solitary racetrack janitor with a tragic past and a natural gift for drifting.
“Car culture has always been about more than machines – it’s about the people, the stories, and the passion that brings enthusiasts together from all over the world,” said Kang in a statement.
“Drifter was created for that community. I’m excited to bring a preview of the film to the Vancouver International Auto Show and share it with the car community.”
Kang is no stranger to Vancouver, as Phnom Penh Restaurant posted on Instagram a photo of the Fast and Furious star visiting the restaurant in 2024.
