12 epic Vancouver concerts to look forward to this spring

Some of music’s biggest stars are coming this spring, and we’ve got the lowdown on the Vancouver concerts you need to check out.

Here are 12 great shows coming to town this upcoming season, including The Black Keys, PinkPantheress, Insomnia Fest, and more.

Insomnia Festival

What: Insomnia Festival returns to the TRADEX in Abbotsford on Saturday, April 4, and the lineup includes some of the world’s biggest DJs and EDM stars.

This year will feature David Guetta, Audien, James Hype, Oliver Heldens, and W&W. All ages are welcome to Insomnia Festival, and there will also be exclusive 19+ VIP experiences available.

Diljit Dosanjh

What: Record-breaking Punjabi hitmaker Diljit Dosanjh embarks on a huge new tour this spring, and he’s kicking things off in a familiar Vancouver venue.

Dosanjh returns to BC Place on Thursday, April 23, to launch the North American leg of the Aura World Tour.

He is known as one of the most-viewed Punjabi artists of all time. “Indian Drake” has recorded 15 studio albums, the most recent being Aura in October 2025. Dosanjh was also the first Punjabi-speaking artist to perform at Coachella, and appeared as a judge for three seasons of India’s reality show Rising Star.

Public Disco and VCBF’s Blossom Block Party

What: The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival (VCBF) is just around the corner, and we’ve got the details on a massive event you need to add to your calendar.

Public Disco and VCBF are teaming up to host the Blossom Block Party on Saturday, April 4, in Downtown Vancouver.

The all-ages party will take place at Dunsmuir Patio at Bentall Centre, with DJ sets by Sakiko Nagai, Kozue, Nina Mendoza, and Beiti. There will also be family-friendly activities and interactive art in celebration of the city’s beautiful blossoms.

Alan Doyle

What: The Great Big Sea alum and Robin Hood star has a career in music spanning three decades. Alan Doyle comes to Vancouver with his Already Dancing Tour on March 25 with special guest The East Pointers.

Brewhalla Beer and Music Festival

What: The Brewhalla Beer and Music Festival series will host two huge events this spring.

First up is North Vancouver at the Shipyards on Friday, May 1, followed by Fort Langley Park on Saturday, June 13

At each festival, there will be plenty of makers to discover, including local favourites like Strathcona Beer Company, Fraser Valley Cider Co., and R&B Brewing Co. The events will also bring food trucks and other refreshments.

Festival-goers can also expect some fun activities and live entertainment by artists like Coco Project, Drew Storey, and DJ Flipout. A Metro Vancouver concert experience you won’t want to miss.

French Montana

What: The Key, a 1,000-capacity performance venue, officially opens its doors with a highly anticipated inaugural lineup of Vancouver concerts, including Dr. Fresch on April 3 and French Montana on April 5.

French Montana was born in Morocco and holds the title of the most-streamed African-born musical artist and the first African-born artist to earn a diamond-certified single.

The “Unforgettable” singer has collaborated with artists like Rick Ross, Drake, and Swae Lee, and is also the founder of Coke Boy Records. He has also appeared on TV shows such as EmpireKeeping Up with the KardashiansNCIS: New Orleans, and America’s Next Top Model.

Kid Cudi

What: Influential rapper, songwriter, and entertainer Kid Cudi is bringing his new North American tour to Vancouver this June, and we’ll be waiting day ‘n’ nite to snap up tickets.

The two-time Grammy winner is bringing The Rebel Rangers Tour to Rogers Arena on Friday, June 19.

He’ll be joined by a superstar lineup of very special guests in Vancouver, including M.I.A., Big Boi, and Dot Da Genius.

Soul Steppin Fridays at The American

What: The American is hosting a monthly dance party rooted in Soul, Funk and R&B classics.

Kick things off with an all-levels line dancing lesson led by host Justine Redila, accompanied by DJ Rhond Hunte. Whether you’ve got two left feet or you’re already cookin’, Justine will get you steppin’, slidin’ and spinnin’ in no time.

The vibe during Soul Steppin Fridays is inspired by family BBQs in the sunshine. Nothing but good times, dancing, belly laughs, and good company. Solo dancers and groups welcome.

What: Two-time Grammy nominee PinkPantheress is bringing An Evening With PinkPantheress North American Tour to the PNE Forum on Thursday, April 16.

PinkPantheress is a multi-platinum artist, songwriter, and producer who has two Grammy nominations for Best Dance Pop Recording (“Illegal”) and Best Dance/Electronic Album (Fancy That).

Mumford & Sons

What: Two-time Grammy winners Mumford & Sons are kicking off their new North American tour at Rogers Arena on Tuesday, June 2.

Mumford & Sons announced the massive summer tour on the same day as the release of their latest album, Prizefighter.

The group is closing in on 20 years since they made their debut, and they’ve had some huge career highlights. The English folk rockers have won two Brit Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, and a Juno along the way.

The Upside Down Rave – A Stranger Things Experience

What: Grab your Eggos and hop on your bikes because a Stranger Things-themed rave is coming to Vancouver this spring.

The Upside Down Rave – A Stranger Things Experience is taking over Celebrities Nightclub in Davie Village on Saturday, May 23.

The Upside Down Rave, presented by Like It. Love It. events, is described as a “visually immersive” daytime shindig with energetic dance music, spooky atmospheres, and live performers bringing the world of Stranger Things to life.

The Black Keys

What: The Black Keys are a five-time Grammy-winning rock band that formed in 2001. Made up of the duo of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, The Black Keys are known for huge hits like “Tighten Up,” “Lonely Boy,” and “Howlin’ For You.”

For a time, their song “Gold on the Ceiling” was the goal song for the Vancouver Canucks. And now, The Black Keys are hitting the road in support of their upcoming 14th studio album, Peaches.
