Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival
What: Get your cameras ready because the colourful Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival (VCBF) is blooming again this spring.
The festival is one of the city’s most beloved yearly events, with a huge lineup of events to discover from March 27 to April 12. There will be several arts workshops to enjoy, the return of the Blossom Block Party on April 4 at Bentall Centre, the Sakura Days Japan Festival from April 11 to 12 at VanDusen Botanical Garden, and more.
The festivities kick off with the Blossoms After Dark on March 27 and 28 from 6:30 to 10 p.m., and the Big Picnic on March 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Rat Academy 2: Gnaw and Order
What: Rat Academy 2: Gnaw and Order is a hilarious show starring Fingers and Shrimp, the last two rats in Alberta. The rats face eviction from the province that claims to be entirely rat-free. and are now in a desperate search for a new home.
The sequel to the award-winning hit Fringe show is physical and clown theatre at its finest. Conceived and performed by Dayna Lea Hoffmann and Katie Yoner, and directed by Joseph McManus. Presented by the Vancouver Fringe.

Dan Savage’s HUMP! Film Festival

Soul Steppin Fridays at The American
What: The American is hosting a monthly dance party rooted in Soul, Funk and R&B classics.
Kick things off with an all-levels line dancing lesson led by host Justine Redila, accompanied by DJ Rhond Hunte. Whether you’ve got two left feet or you’re already cookin’, Justine will get you steppin, slidin and spinnin in no time.
The vibe during Soul Steppin Fridays is inspired by family bbqs in the sunshine. Nothing but good times, dancing, belly laughs, and good company. Solo dancers and groups welcome.

Hop into Cozy Carrots, Richmond’s first bunny lounge

Cozy Carrots
What: Cozy Carrots is Richmond’s first bunny lounge, located just a short walk away from the Canada Line Brighouse Station.
There are usually about a dozen bunnies with a variety of personalities at any given time in the lounge, and patrons will be given a cup of veggies to feed them.
Guests can even visit a retail area with rabbit-themed merchandise, and little ones can explore a small library of books and novels about rabbits and try their hand at some colouring sheets.

Monster Jam Vancouver
What: Monster Jam returns to Vancouver this spring, and the travelling motorsports experience will have some new gigantic beasts along for the ride.
The family-friendly event is returning to the Pacific Coliseum for massive events from March 27 to 29. The world champion athletes and their 12,000-pound monster trucks will be tearing up the dirt during the Vancouver Monster Jam Arena Championship Series West shows.

Disco Divas

10th Annual Construction Expo

Construction Expo
What: The 10th Annual Construction Expo at the Cloverdale Agriplex is a free event that brings together builders, contractors, suppliers, and developers to discover the latest construction products, technologies, and services.

Piano Karaoke at Blossoms After Dark
What: Eddie Lam and The Naturals will celebrate 10 years of Piano Karaoke at David Lam Park, part of the 2026 edition of the Cherry Blossom Festival. This experience invites attendees to jump onstage at the Cherry Blossom Lounge and belt it out, with a variety of different hit songs from different artists, genres, and decades.
This will be Eddie’s second year in a row hosting Piano Karaoke at this event, and promises to be a fun time for the whole family.
